Vaccinations

photo of vaccinationPuppies and kittens are seen for wellness visits and receive examinations, vaccines, deworming, and heartworm and flea control products.  The doctor will make recommendations for
the number of vaccines that the individual pet should receive based on its age and individual needs.

Adult dogs can receive Rabies vaccines and distemper/parvovirus vaccines on a three year rotating schedule.  The doctor will evaluate your pet’s records and make recommendations.

Adult cats receive their distemper vaccines on a three year
schedule as well.  Only cats that go outside or those exposed
to FELV positive cats need to receive the FELV vaccine.  We
give cats a special Rabies vaccine (from the Purevax line) which
is safer for their health.
